We exist to help others realize their potential and see all they are capable of through the empowering experience of outdoor recreation.
What is Cephas?
"And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock [Cephas] I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it." Matthew 16:18
Cephas, meaning "rock" is the name that Jesus gives Peter, and later promises to build the church upon that rock.
Cephas Climbing reminds us of our foundation and inspires us to live lives of joy, remembering we are people of strength and purpose, with adventure woven into the fabric of who we are.
OUR MISSION
Together with volunteers and donors, Cephas Climbing hopes to see people deepen in their relationships with our marvelous God through spending time in the world’s many outdoor cathedrals.
Jesus once said that if his followers stayed silent the very stones would cry out in worship (Luke 19:40). It is our opinion that rocks are made for climbing, and we are built for worship. We hope to create space for people to feel belonging in the outdoors, and to allow the experiences to help us grow as empathetic, kind, and confident individuals.

Cephas Climbing is comprised of husband & wife Noah & Ciara, who are passionate outdoors people and are dedicated to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for every client. With a wealth of knowledge and a passion for the outdoors, they are committed to sharing their expertise and fostering a supportive environment for all levels of climbers and backpackers.
